Ownership
- Paid plans: you own your games — gameplay, logic, the generated Godot source (for original games), and the assets in the project — with full commercial rights.
- Free plan: personal, non-commercial use. Full ownership of generated content comes with upgrading. Anything you upload yourself is always yours, on every plan.
- Rights survive cancellation. Games created or exported during an active paid subscription remain commercially yours after you cancel or downgrade.
- Shared building blocks: stock and CC0 assets used in games are licensed for use in the game — you can ship them inside your game, but can’t resell them standalone.
- Tesana never claims ownership of your games.
Commercial use
- Any paid plan: sell, publish, license, and monetize your games freely.
- Tesana takes 30% only on sales through the Tesana store (Game monetization).
- Sales anywhere else — Steam, itch.io, your own site — carry 0% platform fee.
- Selling on the Tesana store requires an active paid plan.
Exports and portability
Paid plans export standalone web/desktop builds and the complete Godot source project (original games). Exported games run without Tesana; the source opens in the standard Godot editor. Your games are not locked in. Details: Exports.Copyright
- Copyright protection for AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction, and human-authored portions are generally more clearly protectable. Tesana can’t give legal advice — for commercial stakes, consult a lawyer in your jurisdiction.
- You’re responsible for not using copyrighted material you don’t have rights to — including in prompts, reference images, and uploaded assets.
How Tesana uses your content
- Tesana does not train on files you upload.
- Your uploads are never reused in other creators’ games.
- Tesana may review and use generated code and assets to improve the engine and future models.
