Games on the Tesana store can be free, paid, or pay-what-you-want. Selling requires an active paid plan.

Pricing models

Set it under your game’s settings → Monetization. You can change the price or model later; existing buyers keep access.

Getting paid: Stripe Connect

Payouts go through Stripe Connect — your own Stripe account connected to Tesana:
1

Connect Stripe

In your game’s Monetization settings (or account settings → Creator earnings), start the Stripe onboarding flow.
2

Complete onboarding

Stripe collects identity and bank details — required once, for payouts anywhere Stripe operates.
3

Set a price and publish

Once onboarding completes, your paid pricing goes live on the store page.

Revenue split

  • On the Tesana store: you keep 70% of each sale; Tesana takes a 30% platform fee (payment processing included).
  • Off-platform: 0%. Games you export and sell on Steam, itch.io, your own site — anywhere else — owe Tesana nothing. Any paid plan includes full commercial rights. See Ownership & IP.

How purchases work for players

Buyers pay through Stripe checkout on your store page and get permanent access to play the game on Tesana under their account. Your earnings accumulate in your connected Stripe account per its payout schedule.
Purchases and refund requests are handled per the store’s standard policy — buyers with a problem should contact support. Sale disputes and chargebacks go through Stripe’s normal flows.
